In search of old friends: Cappagh 1962

We’ve been contacted by a polio survivor living in the UK, but who grew up in Ireland and spent two years in Cappagh Hospital from 1960 – 1962.

Ben (or Benny) Shine is ‘looking for old inmates of St Mary’s Ward, Cappagh Hospital…1960-1962’.

From memory, the lads in the group photo are named John Looney, John Fraser, (himself) Benny Shine, Kevin McKenna and possibly a Gerry ?
