Macrina Clancy

Now retired, Macrina had various careers in teaching, banking and administration. Macrina worked with Standard Chartered Bank for eleven years, initially for two years as Assistant to the Chairman, then transferred to Cash, Current and Deposit Accounts Department where, after six months, she was made head of the Department. While there she obtained a Diploma in Banking from the Institute of Bankers of Ireland. She was previously a director of family business Ogham Design Ltd. For nine and a half years, Macrina worked as Administrator of a community based Family Resource Centre. A polio survivor, Macrina was Convenor of the Bray Social Support Group and was first elected to the Board in 2016. She was elected Chair of the Board in 2022. She is also a Director of the European Polio Union.
