Frank Mitchell

Deputy Chair

Frank contracted the polio virus when he was six weeks old and spent the first three years of his life in Crumlin Hospital, Dublin. Frank is a retired civil servant and during his time in the Civil Service, Frank worked in various Departments including Education, Finance and Defence as well as the Revenue Commissioners as an Executive Officer. He obtained a Certificate in Supervisory Management while in Revenue.

He was Honorary Secretary to the Men’s Committee Club in Shannon Golf Club for three years and is a Director of the Management Company of the estate where he resides. His interests include golf, cinema and theatre.

Frank was first elected to the Board in 2019, he has served as Deputy Chair of the Board for two years, and currently chairs the Service Quality & Safety Sub-Committee of the Board.
