Prebudget Submissions 2025

Polio Survivors Ireland prebudget submissions to the Department of Health and the Department of Social Protection, outlining issues faced by polio survivors and calls for supports that would improve the quality of their lives, as well as providing more equitable financial situations for them. Specifically, asking for the further extension of income thresholds for medical card eligibility, and for the commissioning of research into the additional cost of disability for older persons, along with inclusion of older people in all future Cost of Disability Payment schemes.
