Get your running gear on – for Polio Survivors!

Taking part in the Women’s Mini Marathon 2017? Whether you can run, walk or wheel, please put Bank Holiday Monday, 5th June 2017, 2pm, in your diary for this year’s event and support Polio Survivors with your fundraising endeavours!

If you or someone you know would like to take part in the Mini Marathon and raise valuable funds for the PPSG, please contact: Anne Burns, 01 453 4150 or email boyneabu(at)eircom.net for your sponsorship card and tee shirt.

Alternatively, contact: Emma, Development Officer at our office, do(at)ppsg(dot)ie or 01 889 89 20.

The Post Polio Support Group uses funds raised in fun runs and mini marathons to provide direct, practical help to Polio Survivors to assist their mobility and to help them to live independently.

7,000 Polio Survivors are still living with disabilities from a disease that is now eradicated from Ireland. Many face a second disabling condition known as Post Polio Syndrome. They require on-going support and help.
