For anyone with an eircom.net email address, some good news is that the new charges are being postponed for the foreseeable future.
This refers to the €5.99 monthly charge, due to begin on March 31st. If you didn’t pay the charge, the account would be ceased.
We would suspect that due to the current circumstances, eir has taken this decision to avoid putting pressure on those who might struggle to set up new emails, or to change details on accounts which use the eircom.net email to log in.
Despite the delay, we would still recommend if you have an eircom.net address, you should still set up a new account. While we’re all #StayingHome it’s a good time to do these pernickety jobs.
