Accounting & Administration Support Officer (Part-Time)
The Post Polio Support Group is recruiting a part time (22 Hours per week) Accounting & Administration Support Officer. The successful applicant will have extensive book keeping experience combined with strong general administrative experience and excellent composition and writing skills
Please note this is a fixed term contract up to the 31st December, 2016 renewable depending on funding.
Key Responsibilities
• Book keeping and accounting
• Meeting PPSG’s reporting obligations
• Administration around funding and funders
• Drafting PPSG’s policies, procedures & standards
• Membership activities, events and members’ database
• Supporting the CEO, Board, Committees and other staff
Person Specification
Experience of:
• Book keeping and accounts administration
• Applying for, and reporting on, statutory funding
• Financial reporting
• Undertaking a wide range of administrative tasks in a busy office environment
Skills Required:
• Strong financial skills
• Excellent English writing, composition and literacy skills
• Highly organised with ability to manage own time and multi-task
• Competent in use of MS Office suite e.g. Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & especially Excel
