Polio Hero Medal for Jim Costello

At a World Polio Day Conference in Paris, the Post Polio Support Group were recently delighted when one of our founding members, Jim Costello, was presented with a Polio Hero Louis Pasteur medal, in recognition of his work to support Polio Survivors. The presentation was made by Sanofi Pasteur, who produce the vaccine against polio. Jim spoke at the event, representing Polio Survivors, while the other recipients were vaccine workers from Pakistan who face life-threatening danger in their  work administering the vaccination. Sanofi Pasteur has produced some excellent infograms featured below, on Polio Eradication, the Polio Lifecycle, the history of Polio etc., and we are delighted to share them here.
