Make Way Day 2023

Today is #MakeWayDay23!

#MakeWayDay is about raising awareness of the obstacles that people with disabilities come across while using the public spaces that we all share.

The Disability Federation of Ireland is asking supporters to take pictures of the obstacles you encounter in your daily journeys, such as parked cars on footpaths, bikes chained to railings, sandwich boards and overhanging branches. You can post your pictures to social media, where the DFI will be highlighting all the ways that people should “make way” both today, and the rest of the year.
