East Coast FM Polio Interview

As part of our recent Polio Register rollout in the South East, one of our members, Joyce Henderson, was interviewed on East Coast FM on Sunday 7th July. Joyce spoke about the initial impact of polio on children, such as herself, who had polio many years ago. She explained how polio can affect survivors in later life, causing Late Effects or Post Polio Syndrome, from intolerance to cold, to new weakness and mobility issues.
