DFI Budget Analysis

The Disability Federation of Ireland has analysed how Budget 2022 will impact on people with disabilities, their families and disability organisations.

While there are some welcome measures, they indicate that the Budget does not do enough to deliver on the Department of Health’s Disability Capacity Review. They also emphasis that it has failed to recognise the significant extra cost of disability faced by people, which lead to high levels of poverty.
