Help the government understand the real cost of living with a disability in Ireland.
The Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection has commissioned a major research project into the cost of disability. This is to find out about the extra costs and expenses that disabled people may have because of their disability.
The Department has commissioned Indecon Research Economists to help carry out this research study.
A survey of disabled people is being undertaken.
Completed surveys will help the Department and the Government to better understand the situation faced by disabled people throughout Ireland.
It has been developed with the input of organisations representing disabled people throughout the country.
The survey is completely anonymous. You will see that none of the questions contain information that could be used to identify you. Your answers are totally private and confidential. Your answers CAN NOT affect any current or future claim you might have with the Department in any way.
Please note the language in this survey is representative of all the views received by Indecon on language, supports etc.
- Postal Surveys are being issued to random samples of over 33,000 DEASP customers on relevant disability payments, so you may have received this by post. You can fill it out online if you prefer.
