It was a merry group that participated in the 2019 Echo Women’s Mini Marathon on Sunday 22^nd September. With the help of Civil Defence escorts, Cian, Hilary and David, our entrants took to the streets with lots of colour provided by our tabbards, bibs and of course William Buckley in Disguise.

Weather was good, there was a great atmosphere along the route with plenty of support from the sidelines, making it a fun and enjoyable way to fundraise for Polio Survivors Ireland, by our Cork Social Support Group members. Huge thanks to all who took part, we’ll let you know the overall amount raised soon as we know.

Thanks to our Civil Defence escorts, Cian, Hilary and David who were such a help. We look forward to next year!
