Community Employment Role

Polio Survivors Ireland is recruiting a part-time Administrative Assistant via the Community Employment scheme. We are seeking a motivated and organised individual, to assist in the running of a busy office, providing support to the Administration Officer. The candidate must have excellent English writing and literacy, the ability to manage their own time and preferably have used MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Training will be given on all platforms.

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years, or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more, or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups.

Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

This is an exciting opportunity to train as an Administrator in a very busy national charity, with a small executive staff, based in our office in Dublin.

Duties include:

Admin Support, Phones, Mailouts, Updating Systems, Invoice Processing, other office duties.
Training provided and an opportunity to learn in a busy and dynamic office environment.
