Polio Survivors Ireland is delighted to announce that we have received a grant from the Community Foundation of Ireland, under their Covid-19 Recovery – Building Capacity funding. We applied for a grant for ‘Research and Consultation amongst members to develop a Post-Covid Strategic Plan for Polio Survivors Ireland’.
Our current Strategic Plan timeframe is coming to an end and we are keen to start the process of the of putting together a new plan this year. The first stage is to be an extensive consultation with our members and other stakeholders, to gain a picture of what is important for us to do in the years ahead. We are truly delighted to be in receipt of this grant, which will help us to undertake this considerable and valuable research required, to create a plan reflective of polio survivors.
We are most grateful to the Community Foundation of Ireland for their work in assisting organisations like our own, who without such funding opportunities would greatly struggle to achieve our goals.
