Booster Doses – available to over 40s
A booster dose is used to give better protection to people who have already received a COVID-19 vaccine course.
How long to wait before getting a booster
You need to wait 3 months (at least 90 days) after your first round of COVID-19 vaccination before you can get a booster.
If you had COVID-19 since you were vaccinated, you should get your booster dose at least 3 months after your positive test result.
If you tested positive within the last 3 months, you can use this form to postpone your booster appointment.
Walk-in booster clinics are open for people aged 40 years and older, pregnant women and healthcare workers at certain vaccination centres. Some dose 1 and 2 walk-in clinics are also open.
