Pat Ryan

Pat lives in Milltown, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow and is a retired Legal Executive/Office Manager and is currently a Legal Consultant. 

Pat has been on the Board of a number of organisations including as Director/Secretary of The Ranch Myshall Company, a voluntary organisation managing fourteen acres of Parish Property and of Drumphea Community Centre Limited.  He is a Trustee of Garryhill Handball Club where he was Secretary for twenty-one years, which included fundraising and construction of a modern sports complex incorporating National and International Handball Courts. He is also Vice Chairman of the Carlow Vintage and Classic Motor Club and takes an active part in the organisation of two major shows each year. Along with his son, singer/songwriter, Derek Ryan, Pat is a Director of Milltown Music Limited. 

Pat is a polio survivor having contracted polio in 1950 at the age of three. He has been a member of Polio Survivors Ireland for many years and was co-opted to the Board in October 2022. He currently serves on the Finance & Audit Board Sub-Committee.
