Polio survivors often say to us that, ‘We Understand’.

Our members often say that we provide a listening ear, or that the support they receive at meetings, on the phone or via the social support network, makes a huge difference to them.  But don’t take our word for it.

“It is very reassuring to know that there is an organisation in Ireland that provides support and represents the interests of people with polio. Polio Survivors Ireland has provided me with information, support and services in relation to my disability that I could not have accessed from any other source because they have specialist knowledge in this area.” Susan, polio survivor.

“I enjoy the camaraderie with fellow polio survivors, be it concerning polio or not, and I always appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness in any dealings I have with Polio Survivors Ireland staff.” Anne, polio survivor.
