Virtual Fundraising – VHI Women’s Mini Marathon

VHIWMM IMage

Take part at home in your own time!

Like so many things this year (will we ever forget 2020), the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon was cancelled due to covid-19. However, just as so many things in our lives have gone virtual, now the VHIWMM is going virtual for 10 days in October!

This year’s event will take place from the 1st – 10th October and the organisers are calling on people to take part in their own 10k – your town, your village, your way! They are using the hashtag #Powerof10 to help raise €10m for Irish charities.

Entry is €10 and you can sign up here www.vhiwomensminimarathon.ie.

This is a wonderful opportunity to participate virtually in the annual event, which normally takes place on one day in Dublin. Perhaps you’ve always wanted to be involved but the travel or the timing wouldn’t suit your situation. While covid has changed our daily lives – this could be one thing that we can turn to our advantage! Sign up today and do your 10K over 10 days, even at home! The winners are the charities, like ourselves, that benefit from your fundraising efforts!

If you think you could do 10K either in one session or over the 10 days in October, while raising funds for Polio Survivors Ireland, contact Emma DO@ppsg.ie – please share with anyone you think might enjoy taking part, while helping a wonderful cause.
