Seeing without Sight
Accessibility and inclusivity, these are the keywords of the new exhibition “Seeing without Sight” promoted by The Hunt Museum in the city of Limerick.
Through this exhibition, visitors will try to put themselves in the shoes of a visually impaired person, immersing themselves in a multisensory environment offering tactile displays and audio descriptions. They will rely on touch, feel and sound, just as someone without sight has to do daily.
An event co-created with people with visual impairments that allows us to broaden our perspectives and reflect on everyday life that is very often taken for granted, by those of us who can see without difficulty.
