Polio Survivors at Leinster House

We were delighted to attend the launch of ‘The Value of Adult Vaccination in Ireland’ – a report from the Office of Health Economics (OHE), commissioned by GSK- at Leinster House on Wednesday. The panel of speakers included our Chair, Macrina Clancy, along with Kate O’Connell (Pharmacist and former TD), Simon Brassell (OHE Consulting Ltd), Professor Samuel McConkey (RCSI) and Senator Gerry Horkan. Macrina addressed a packed audience of TD’s and Senators about the long term impacts of polio on survivors, and the value of vaccination. Many thanks also to Joyce and Mick for representing our members at the event.
