Brendan – Award of Recognition runner up

Brendan

We were delighted to hear recently that our member and volunteer, Brendan Moore, was nominated for a Louth Public Participation Network (PPN) Award. The nominations were announced in November and made virtually during the Christmas break.

Brendan was thrilled and proud to be nominated under the category “Community Help” for his work with Polio Survivors Ireland and Brenda is the Award of Recognition runner-up.

He deserves much credit for this recognition, given that the Outstanding Award winner in this category is Drogheda’s Red Door Project. We’re told that Brendan is in very good company here as the Drogheda Centre involves many volunteers and receives significant funding towards combatting drugs and gangland crime in the area.

Pictured are awards results in Drogheda Indo, 4th January, along with previous photo of Brendan after his nomination.

Well done to Brendan!
